UA Little Rock to Kick-Off Spring Semester with Welcome Week
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will welcome its students with a week of fun activities to start off the spring 2023 semester with a bang!
The spring semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 17, and Welcome Week runs through Friday, Jan. 20.
On Tuesday, Jan. 17, we encourage students to donate non-perishable items or sign up to volunteer for the Trojan Food Pantry in honor of MLK Day of Service. Tables will be set up in the Donaghey Student Center, in front of Ottenheimer Library, and in the Multicultural Center.
Food Truck Friday will be on Friday, Jan. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. between the Trojan Cafe and Trojan A. Students must use the Trojan Engage app to claim a voucher.
Other activities include a karaoke night, a Registered Student Organization (RSO) fair, a trivia night, and a basketball double header with free pizza for students.
These events are a great opportunity for students to start the semester strong and have fun.

Tuesday, Jan. 17
MLK Day of Service, Donaghey Student Center, in front of Ottenheimer Library, or in the Multicultural Center, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Messages of Love (hosted by LULAC), Donaghey Student Center lobby, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
MLK Day of Service Acknowledgement, Multicultural Center, Noon
Karaoke Night (hosted by the Student Activities Board), Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter Hall, 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 18
Trojan Trail Registered Student Organization Fair, Donaghey Student Center upper and lower concourse, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Trivia Night (hosted by Ottenheimer Library and the Learning Commons), Ottenheimer Library 100 A, 6-7 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 19
Get Crafty (hosted by Student Experience Center and Counseling Services), Donaghey Student Center and Ledbetter Halls, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Trojans Gameday, Basketball doubleheader vs. Tennessee Tech, Jack Stephens Center, at 5 and 7:30 p.m.
