The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host its seventh annual Fringe Festival April 18-21, featuring original spoken word, theatrical, dance, and music performances from students in the School of Literary and Performing Arts.

The four performances of Fringe Festival VII: An Extravaganza of Student 10-Minute Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday in the Haislip Theatre in the Center for Performing Arts. This event will have an alternating schedule of performances. One group of students will perform on April 18 and 20, and the second group on April 19 and 21.

The festival, which is free and open to the public, will include 10-minute original performance pieces by UA Little Rock students in dance, theatre, music, film, and interdisciplinary studies.

Through the generous support of the Kerry Kennedy Aspiring Playwright Endowed Fund, Arkansas playwright Candrice Jones, recipient of the 2023 Kesselring Prize for Playwrighting, mentored participating students in the creation of their original work.
