UA Little Rock to Host BFA and Professional Practices Exhibit

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host a new exhibit featuring the work of graduating Bachelor of Fine Arts students.

The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will be on display in the Brad Cushman Gallery in the Windgate Center of Art and Design from Nov. 20 to Dec. 8. Patrons are invited to join the artists during a reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in the main lobby of the Windgate Center.

This exhibition features the work of graduating BFA students and Professional Practices students who present their final projects and get first-hand experience in installing artwork in a formal exhibition.

Graduating BFA students who are participating in the exhibition and their focus include Kim Arcega, furniture design, Clare O’Brien, illustration, and Gabriel Watson, graphic design.

The UA Little Rock Art Galleries in the Windgate Center are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, and 2-5 p.m. Sunday.
