Little Rock Public Radio Launches Spring Fund Drive, Aims to Raise $80,000 to Support Independent Journalism
Little Rock Public Radio (KUAR/KLRE) is calling on the community to support independent, nonprofit journalism during its Spring Fund Drive, March 17-21. With a goal of raising $80,000, the station is seeking contributions from listeners who value fact-based news, in-depth storytelling, and classical music.
“As a listener-supported station, our ability to provide trusted journalism and cultural programming depends on the generosity of our community,” said Jonathan Seaborn, general manager of Little Rock Public Radio.
The fundraiser comes at a critical moment for public media. Listener contributions remain the largest and most reliable source of support, and KUAR and KLRE depend on community contributions to continue providing essential news and cultural programming.
“Little Rock Public Radio is more than a news outlet—it’s a vital part of our community,” Seaborn said. “We connect people with trustworthy information, elevate local voices, and provide a space for inspiring and engaging stories.
