UA Little Rock Welcomes Students Back to School for Fall Semester

New and returning students to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will be met with a week of exciting events and activities when returning to campus for the fall 2025 semester.

The fall semester begins Wednesday, Aug. 20, and students will have plenty of Welcome Week activities to choose from through Saturday, Aug. 23.

Below are the events for each day:

Friday, Aug. 15

• Welcome Back BBQ, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Trojan Lane

Saturday, Aug. 16

• RecFest, 2-5 p.m., Donaghey Student Center (DSC) Fitness and Aquatic Center 

Sunday, Aug. 17

• Outdoor Movie Night, Sinners (Rated R), 7-9 p.m., Trojan Lawn

Monday, Aug. 18

• Organizing Your Online Life, 1-2 p.m., Ottenheimer Library 100A
• Battle of the Halls, 2-5 p.m., Trojan Lane and Trojan Lawn

Tuesday, Aug. 19

• Blackboard Student Orientation, 11 a.m. – noon, Dickinson Hall 101; 1-2 p.m., virtual
• Casino Night, 5-7 p.m., Trojan Cafe

Wednesday, Aug. 20

• First day of classes
• Scavenger Hunt
