David A. Gilliam is Associate Professor of Marketing, the International Business Program Coordinator and Assistant Director of the Center for Professional Selling at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has extensive work experience with a multinational corporation and as an entrepreneur. His research has appeared or is forthcoming in the “European Journal of Marketing”, “Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services”, “International Review of Retail Distribution and Consumer Research”, “Industrial Marketing Management”, “Journal of Marketing Management”, “Journal of Services Marketing”, “Service Industries Journal”, “Marketing Intelligence & Planning”, “International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management.” His research focuses on narratives, communication, and relationships in sales, services, and branding.

Dr. Gilliam has a PhD in Marketing from Oklahoma State University.
