After a combined 64 years of service to UA Little Rock, George and Joni Lee will retire from UA Little Rock this year, leaving a legacy of leadership, growth, and dedication to the university they have called home since the 1980s.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is excited to announce that its Homecoming celebration will take place on Saturday, Feb. 22. Alumni, students, and friends are invited to save the date for a day filled with Trojan spirit and festivities.

Little Rock Athletics is proud to announce that loyal Trojan supporters Anne and Merritt Dyke will serve as the honorees for the 16th Annual SpectacuaLR event benefiting Trojan Athletics. The annual fundraising gala celebrating “The Year of the Trojan” is set for Thursday, November 14th at 6:30 pm at the Jack Stephens Center.

After 37 seasons and nearly 900 career wins, six regular season conference championships, five conference tournament titles and 12 postseason (NCAA and WNIT) appearances, Little Rock Women’s Basketball coach Joe Foley is calling it a career, officially announcing his retirement on Thursday.

The Little Rock Department of Athletics is thrilled to announce that this year’s highly anticipated 16th edition of its SpectacuaLR Gala will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Jack Stephens Center. The annual fundraiser promises an evening celebrating ‘The Year of the Trojans’, all in support of UA Little Rock student-athletes.

In just its second year as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference, the Little Rock Trojans have captured the OVC Commissioner’s Cup, awarded annually for overall athletic excellence in league-sponsored championships. It’s the first overall cup win for Little Rock in school history.

The Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) has awarded Dr. Joe Felan, associate professor of management, marketing, and technology at UA Little Rock, with the 2023-24 Outstanding Faculty Commitment to Student Success Award.

University of Arkansas at Little Rock Chancellor Christina S. Drale has named Frank M. Cuervo as its new Director of Athletics for the Little Rock Trojans. 

For Brandy Sweeden Dixon, assistant athletic director of communications for Little Rock Athletics, completing her first marathon has been high on her priority list for several years.
