Little Rock Public Radio is poised for a significant upgrade in its broadcasting capabilities, thanks to the recent acquisition of a new grant dedicated to purchasing new studio equipment.

Little Rock Public Radio (KUAR/KLRE) is calling on the community to support independent, nonprofit journalism during its Spring Fund Drive, March 17-21. Grace Zafasi, a familiar face at Little Rock Public Radio, has taken on a new role as director of development for the home of KUAR FM 89.1 and KLRE Classical 90.5. 

The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation has awarded Little Rock Public Radio with $50,000 in funding aimed at fostering journalistic independence and collaboration in Arkansas.
