Music lovers will have the opportunity to experience the musical stylings of UA Little Rock’s Jazz and Wind Ensembles during a concert on Feb. 27.

A dedicated double alumna of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has made a generous planned gift to benefit the academic programs that made such a difference in her life.

The School of Literary and Performing Arts at UA Little Rock invites the campus and community to attend “Games of Chance: A Casino Night of Opera and Musical Theatre.”

UA Little Rock’s Percussion Ensemble and Trojan Steel Band will host its Fall Percussion Concert on Thursday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall, located in the Fine Arts building on the UA Little Rock campus.

Makayla Allman, a recent graduate of UA Little Rock, will soon be sharing her entertainment skills with the millions of people who annually visit the happiest place on Earth.

Dr. Lorissa Mason, director of choral activities, Leann Jones, collaborative pianist, and six current and former UA Little Rock students traveled to London, England to perform in “The Music and Lineage of Paul Mealor.”

Cindy Conger, founder of Conger Wealth Management, has donated $125,000 to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock that will provide grants for student research, create a student emergency fund, and cover operational expenses for the university’s theatre program. 

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host its seventh annual Fringe Festival April 18-21, featuring original spoken word, theatrical, dance, and music performances from students in the School of Literary and Performing Arts.
