A longtime Arkansas business owner has made a generous planned gift to support nursing students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Nursing students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will receive a more realistic nursing education in the Center for Simulation Innovation thanks to a grant from the Roy & Christine Sturgis Charitable Trust.

In an historic milestone for UA Little Rock’s nursing program, December 2023 graduates from the School of Nursing earned a 100 percent pass rate for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) for the first time in program history!
