The new UA Little Rock Catalog website is now live at ualr.edu/catalogs. Thanks to the efforts of the Catalog Implementation Team, a more user-friendly catalog site is now available for students, faculty, and staff.
The publication of the catalog site was a collaboration between the Office of the Provost, Office of Records and Registration, Graduate School, Information Technology Services, Trojan Academic Advising and Support Center, Institutional Research and Analytics, and the Office of Communications.
The online catalog is part of a larger effort to improve UA Little Rock’s internal curricular processes and will also enhance student recruitment and retention by providing an attractive, easy-to-navigate interface for exploring academic programs.
The Office of the Provost and the Office of Records and Registration will host a “Meet the Catalog” event Tuesday, August 27, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the DSC Ledbetter Room C. More information about the event will be shared at a later date.
In the meantime, the Undergraduate and Graduate catalogs can now be accessed all in one place. The drop-down menu at the top of the site makes selecting the appropriate catalog easier.
Additional features help to quickly locate and track details for degree programs, degree requirements, and courses.
Some of these tools include a publication search, course search, a print option on every page, and a bookmarks function that allows users to add, track, and save information to retrieve later.
For more information on how to navigate the new catalog and more information about the catalog team, go to ualr.edu/catalogs/how-to-use-the-catalog.
The full printed version of the undergraduate and graduate catalogs will be available for download and printing in August.
