Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2023

U.S. National Domestic Violence Awareness Month is recognized each October.  This year, UA Little Rock has continued to increase programming across campus to bring awareness to the signs and resources available to prevent and respond to Domestic and Dating Violence on our campus.

Title IX Talks

Title IX Talks are brief, practical training sessions meant to provide information to the campus community. These sessions are no more than 15 minutes long.

  • Stalking: Know It. Name It. Stop It.
    • Thursday, October 5, 2-3:30 p.m.
    • Donaghey Student Center Leadership Lounge
    • Stalking is becoming more prevalent on college campuses across the United States.  Come learn how to spot the common signs of stalking, how to report a potential case of stalking, and how to get support if you are experiencing stalking.

  • Consent and Boundaries Workshop
    • Wednesday, October 25, 1:30-3 p.m.
    • Donaghey Student Center Leadership Lounge
    • Let’s talk about Consent and Boundaries! This workshop will explore understanding consent in the various relationships we have in our lives. This workshop will help you consider how you give and accept consent in your relationships

*During Satellite Hours, students and employees are welcome to come and visit with the Director of Title IX, make a report, or request support.
