Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2024

U.S. National Domestic Violence Awareness Month is recognized each October.  This year, UA Little Rock has continued to enhance programming across campus to bring awareness to the signs and resources available to respond to Domestic and Dating Violence on our campus.

Title IX Outreach/Information Tables

  • Donaghey Student Center: October 2, 14, and 16 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • EIT Building Lobby: October 8 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Reynolds Business Atrium: October 3 and 29 from 10 a.m. – Noon
  • Bowen Law School: October 28 10 a.m. – Noon

Title IX Talks

Title IX Talks are brief, practical training sessions meant to provide information to the campus community. These sessions are no more than 15 minutes long.

Programming

  • Stalking: Know It. Name It. Stop It.
    • Thursday, October 24, 2-3:30 p.m.
    • Donaghey Student Center Leadership Lounge
    • Stalking is becoming more prevalent on college campuses across the United States.  Come learn how to spot the common signs of stalking, how to report a potential case of stalking, and how to get support if you are experiencing stalking.
