The UALR Center for Literacy is committed to using literacy as a lever for educational change that leads to significant increases in teacher knowledge and student achievement. The Center houses four nationally recognized training models:

Partnership in Comprehensive Literacy
Comprehensive Intervention
Reading Recovery
Strategic Processing

The Center is dedicated to providing premier professional development to educators and and to conducting research in literacy-related areas. The UALR Center for Literacy Fund was established for the purpose of enhancing the knowledge of literacy educators in K-12 schools by providing opportunities for these educators to attend conferences, academies, and workshops sponsored by the Center.
