Practice-Focused Faculty. Profession-Ready Graduates.

Bowen’s Lawyering Skills faculty teach the foundational courses that prepare students to think, write, and advocate like lawyers from the start. These professors, many of them practicing attorneys and Bowen alumni, guide students through core skills like legal research and writing, client interviewing, motion drafting, and oral advocacy.

Through hands-on assignments, courtroom simulations, and small-group feedback, students build confidence in trial preparation, presentation, and persuasive communication. Lawyering Skills faculty play a vital role in helping students bridge the gap between classroom learning and real legal practice, ensuring they are prepared to serve clients and succeed in any setting.
