The UALR Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology (EIT) offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, specializing in one of four fields:

  • Electrical Systems
  • Computer Systems
  • Mechanical Systems
  • Telecommunication Systems

Systems engineers bring together all engineering fields, creating the “big picture” for accomplishing goals and managing complex structures like:

  • Computer Networks
  • Wireless Networks
  • Thermal Power Plants
  • Airplanes and Spacecraft
  • Manufacturing Lines
  • Robots

The Systems Engineering program builds its four specialization options upon a set of core courses that impart basic skills needed by engineering professionals in the 21st Century.

By choosing to pursue your Bachelor’s degree from UALR’s Systems Engineering Department, you will be able to:

  • Integrate multifaceted engineering disciplines;
  • Model complex systems for optimizing system performance;
  • Work in teams and work with industry clients; and
  • Architect, design, develop, and deliver a completed project.
