artWORKS Workshop: Build It Big!

As part of the artWORKS series made possible through support from the Windgate Foundation, UA Little Rock presents the artWORKS Workshop: Build It Big! led by John Shea. This week-long workshop explores how to construct larger-scale clay sculptures. Participants will create pieces between 40 to 58 inches tall and will discuss different concerns of strength and structure of larger forms.
Each participant is encouraged to attend with a creative idea in mind while remaining open to adjustments based on instructor guidance and individual skill level. The workshops will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on July 7-11 in the Windgate Center of Art + Design. Email Kristi Pruett at [email protected] to register. Spots are limited!
