Cybersecurity Club Hosts Cyber Expert Chris Wright

The UA Little Rock Cybersecurity Club will host industry expert, Chris Wright, on-campus February 12th from 4:00 – 5:30 PM in the EIT auditorium.

The UA Little Rock Cybersecurity Club was founded prior to 2018. Rebecca Passmore serves as faculty advisor to the club. Passmore has brought great cutting-edge opportunities to the table such as heading a cyber forensics class, which provides cyber-attack simulations as part of the curriculum. Students examine physical (staged) cybercrime scenes and must solve the case given clues.

Wright, of Sullivan Wright Technologies, is renowned in the cyber field. He will present on career opportunities in cybersecurity; the event will kick off the semester for the Cybersecurity Club. We invite all interested to join! Drinks and cookies will be served following the lecture.
