The Emerging Analytics Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock offers a comprehensive suite of immersive environments designed to support cutting-edge research and development in virtual and augmented reality applications. The center features an extensive library of modern hardware and software for VR and AR research, including the room-sized CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment) that surrounds users with projected screens for a full, shareable VR experience.
Additionally, the EAC facilities include the “Immersive Corner” and the “Immersive Table” that offer collaborative workspace environments, head-mounted displays (HMDs) for individual immersive experiences, and high-end workstations used for the development of complex interactive scientific and artistic visualizations in real-time.
This diverse array of immersive environments enables the center to conduct research across multiple domains while providing students with the flexibility to choose the most appropriate platform for their specific research needs and collaborative requirements.
