Annual Student Competitive Exhibition
October 9 at 9:00 am - November 18 at 5:00 pm
The Annual Student Competitive Exhibition has moved to the Fall semester to have one day of overlap with the Holiday Sale and Open House (November 7, 3:00-8:00pm).
Each year, studio art majors, studio art minors and students taking a studio course as an elective, may submit up to four artworks for an independent juror who will then select the artworks that will make up the Student Competitive exhibition. Studio art courses taught in the School of Art and Design include: painting, drawing, illustration, graphic design, metalsmithing, furniture design, ceramics and printmaking. Students can win a variety of awards from materials awards and Starving Artist awards from local businesses to cash awards and scholarship awards.
