Physics Renovation

The Physics building was erected in 1967 and last renovated in 1975. Renovation of the physics building included the lecture hall, classrooms, labs, and offices as well as replacement of the HVAC system, lighting upgrades, new finishes, and reroofing. Some exterior additions that were made to the building over the years were removed so that the building can be brought back to its original design. The building’s exterior was cleaned and painted to more closely match the exterior of Ottenheimer Library.

Project Financing & Timeline

This project was financed through a bond approved by the University of Arkansas System Board of Trustees during its May 2017 meeting. The project began in February 2018, and the building reopened for spring 2019.
