LaChanda is a graduate student in the business information systems program. She has successfully maintained a 4.0 grade point average all while maintaining a full time job and caring for four children. Check out her story below:
LaChanda’s Graduate Student Experience
“My experience at UA Little Rock has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences of my life.
“Through concepts and curriculum taught specifically for IT professionals, instructors in the Business Information Systems program left a lingering impact on my career. My professional network has expanded two-fold through opportunities to meet and sustain relationships with peers vying for success like me!
“As a full-time working professional and mother of four, I have overcome many obstacles. Through my struggles I have developed resilience, dedication, and patience for completing my Master’s degree. My biggest reward is maintaining a 4.0 GPA! After graduation, I plan to use my graduate degree to obtain a leadership position with my current employer.”
