The Policy and Personnel Committee meets every two weeks to review graduate faculty status applications. The committee votes to approve new full or affiliate graduate faculty members or changes in status of current faculty members.
The committee is also responsible for recommending both new graduate-level policies and changes to existing policies. Members of the Policy and Personnel Committee will provide feedback on all proposals for new policies or policy changes, including those suggested by the Graduate School administrators or other stakeholders outside of Grad Council.
All meetings of the Policy and Personnel Committee are held online with voting taking place before each Graduate Council meeting.
