Professor andré douglas pond cummings presented his research on private for-profit incarceration at the 4th global meeting on persistent worldwide slavery hosted by the Universität Innsbruck. Private prison inmates, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation were all identified as modern forms of slavery that continue in 2019.
