Professor andré cummings published “Teaching Social Justice Through Hip Hop & the Law” chronicling his experience teaching his course “Hip Hop & the American Constitution” at the John Marshall Law School (where he visited in 2018-19) and at Bowen Law School in 2020. cummings argues that social justice legal principles are ripe in hip hop culture.
