Together with Robert Craig, Associate Director of Abolish Private Prisons, Professor andré cummings published “Abolishing Private Prisons: A Constitutional and Moral Imperative” arguing that private for-profit incarceration is not just unconstitutional under the 8th, 13th and 14th amendments and the non-delegation doctrine, but that it is immoral.
