Caroline Boch
Assistant Professor of Law
Joined Bowen Law in 2024
“We as lawyers are lucky. We have the tools to help people and shape our communities.”
Caroline Boch teaches Research, Writing, and Analysis I and II at the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, bringing extensive experience in federal and state courts, public service, and disability advocacy to her role as a legal educator.
Before joining Bowen, Boch served as a law clerk to the Hon. D.P. Marshall Jr. and the Hon. Brian S. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, as well as to the Hon. Robin F. Wynne of the Arkansas Supreme Court. She also worked as a staff attorney at Disability Rights Arkansas and as a Presidential Management Fellow with the Social Security Administration.
Her academic interests lie in legal history, law and education, and children’s rights. She’s passionate about equipping students with practical legal skills that serve them well in any area of law.
Boch was drawn to Bowen for its mission-driven environment and diverse student body. “Bowen attracts a diverse group of smart, committed students who want to make a difference,” she says. “Working with students is the best part of my job.”
Outside the classroom, Boch shares that her time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador came with an unexpected honor: “I was named the ‘good luck charm’ of my town’s soccer team—despite having no soccer skills at all.”
Boch holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College.
