Dean Beiner presented an update on United States Supreme Court and Eighth Circuit labor and employment cases at the Arkansas Bar Association’s annual Labor & Employment CLE in April.

Beiner, Theresa. Thoughts on Bostock. Southeastern Association of Law Schools, virtual (August 4, 2020). Dean Beiner was among a group of panelists discussing the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Bostock v. Clayton County during the annual meeting of the Southeastern Association of Law Schools. The meeting was conducted virtually this year.

Beiner, Theresa. What we know about mentoring new lawyers. Pulaski County Bar Association CLE, Little Rock, Arkansas – virtual (May 28, 2020). Dean Beiner presented a virtual CLE for the Pulaski County Bar Association discussing research on mentoring programs for new lawyers, including suggesting some practices to set up these programs.

Beiner, Theresa.  The State of Law School. Pulaski County Bar Association monthly meeting, Little Rock, AR (Oct. 11, 2019). Dean Beiner presented the “state of the law school” at the Pulaski County Bar Association’s October monthly meeting. Attending with Dean Beiner were Bowen students who had received Pulaski County Bar Foundation scholarships.

Beiner, Theresa.  Appearance Discrimination. EEOC Little Rock EEO Seminar, Little Rock, Arkansas (Aug. 13, 2019). Dean Beiner presented at the EEOC’s Little Rock EEO Seminar in August of this year on the topic of Appearance Discrimination. The seminar included both employment law attorneys and human resources professionals.
