The Little Rock Congregations Study is an ongoing research project that aims to deliver meaningful and relevant results to the citizens of Little Rock and the broader community.
Under the direction of Dr. Rebecca A. Glazier at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, the Little Rock Congregations Study (LRCS) has been engaging graduate and undergraduate students in hands-on research about the religious organizations in their community since 2012. Research Goals

The Little Rock Congregations Study has three main goals:
- To improve our understanding of the impacts of faith-based community engagement
- To get students out of the classroom and into the community to learn and give back
- To provide relevant and meaningful findings to the community

We appreciate the support and insight provided to us by our Clergy Advisory Board.
In 2025, Dr. Glazier left academia to work full time in faith-based community engagement as a Welfare and Self-Reliance Manager for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She can be reached at her personal email: [email protected].
