Artspree to Host Van Cliburn Finalist on Nov. 4
UALR Artspree will host Di Wu, finalist of the 13th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the UALR Fine Arts Building.
Tickets are $20 for individual general admission, $10 for UALR faculty, staff, and students from other institutions, free for UALR students. To purchase tickets, call the UALR Music Department Box Office at 501-569-8993 or at ualr.tix.com.
Wu has been performing professionally since the age of 14 in a debut was with the Beijing Philharmonic. Since then, she has performed with orchestras around the world and has performed as a recitalist in venues such as the Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.
Wu has studied at the Manhattan School of Music, the Curtis Institute, and earned her master’s degree in music at Julliard.
