Graduating students, take note: Gradfest has returned. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 7-8, students can take care of their graduation needs at the lower concourse of the Donaghey Student Center, between Health Services and the UALR Bookstore. During Gradfest, students can:
  • Visit with Office of Records and Registration representatives regarding commencement and the application to graduate
  • Talk with financial aid representatives: An exit interview is mandatory for students with loans
  • Buy cap and gown
  • Chat with Alumni Association representatives about the benefits of joining the organization
  • Order official personalized graduation announcements
  • Find out about available graduate school programs and admission requirements
  • Order an official UALR class ring
In addition, graduating students can complete a graduation survey in the BOSS system — by using the student services menu/tab and clicking on “Answer a survey” —  for a chance to win a $300 UALR graduation packet consisting of cap and gown, personalized brick, alumni T-shirt, alumni license plate frame, and an official UALR diploma frame.
