Gradfest event to help students prepare for fall graduation

Graduating students, take note: Gradfest has returned.
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 7-8, students can take care of their graduation needs at the lower concourse of the Donaghey Student Center, between Health Services and the UALR Bookstore.
During Gradfest, students can:
Visit with Office of Records and Registration representatives regarding commencement and the application to graduate
Talk with financial aid representatives: An exit interview is mandatory for students with loans
Buy cap and gown
Chat with Alumni Association representatives about the benefits of joining the organization
Order official personalized graduation announcements
Find out about available graduate school programs and admission requirements
Order an official UALR class ring
In addition, graduating students can complete a graduation survey in the BOSS system — by using the student services menu/tab and clicking on “Answer a survey” — for a chance to win a $300 UALR graduation packet consisting of cap and gown, personalized brick, alumni T-shirt, alumni license plate frame, and an official UALR diploma frame.
