Provost candidates to visit University of Arkansas at Little Rock

University of Arkansas at Little Rock

Four finalists for the provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs position at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will visit campus beginning the week of Monday, April 17. 

All public forums will be held in the Donaldson Student Services Center Auditorium on the UA Little Rock campus.

Provost candidates’ public forums include:

  •   Michael Henson, associate vice president for research and dean of the Graduate School at Morehead State University. Monday, April 17. Greet community: 3-3:15 p.m. Public forum: 3:15-4:30 p.m.
  •      Steven Berberich, associate provost for faculty and staff affairs at Wright State University. Tuesday, April 18. Greet community: 3:15-3:30 p.m. Public forum: 3:30-4:45 p.m.
  •      Velmer Burton, dean of the School of Applied Sciences at the University of Mississippi. Monday, April 24. Greet community: 3-3:15 p.m. Public forum: 3:15-4:30 p.m.
  •      DoVeanna Fulton, dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Houston. Tuesday, April 25. Greet community: 3:15-3:30 p.m. Public forum: 3:30-4:45 p.m.

The UA Little Rock community will have the opportunity to share in the search process as the candidates interview with administrative leaders, faculty, staff, and students. Each will have the opportunity to provide feedback through online forms.

The UA Little Rock Provost Search Committee is chaired by Steve McClellan, vice chancellor for finance and administration.
