“Dogs of War” documentary to be screened Wednesday, April 26

Dogs are typically thought of as man’s furry best friend, serving as loyal, loving, and helpful companions.

For military dogs, life can be much more demanding.

Join the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Office of Collections and Archives Wednesday, April 26, for an airing of “Dogs of War: The Fight Back Home,” a film that chronicles the psychological effects of war on military dogs.

The film screening will take place from noon until 1:15 p.m. in Ottenheimer Library Room 535.

“As we know, students are feeling pressured due to upcoming finals, so Collections and Archives wanted to give our students a break with an interesting movie,” said Kaye Lundgren, archival assistant.

Lundgren will lead a discussion following the film.
