Chancellor’s Concert Series continues with New York Classical Players

The Chancellor’s Concert Series at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will continue with a performance by the New York Classical Players on Monday, Oct. 9.

The Chancellor’s Concert Series at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will continue with a performance by the New York Classical Players on Monday, Oct. 9. 

The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Building on the UA Little Rock campus.

The Chancellor’s Concert Series is a new menu of highly select offerings from world-class artists from all musical genres.

The New York Classical Players is a dynamic and versatile chamber orchestra comprised of young musicians committed to bringing free, high-level concerts to diverse audiences in the greater New York City metropolitan area.

A non-profit organization comprised of young professional musicians under the leadership of founding music director Dongmin Kim, the musical group seeks to reach a wide spectrum of audiences with performances that engage the communities in which they occur.

The Chancellor’s Concert Series also will feature a performance by world-renowned guitarist Phil Keaggy on Oct. 27. The season closes with a weeklong residency with Polygraph Lounge from April 23-28, 2018.

General admission tickets are $20 and student tickets are $5. UA Little Rock and UA-Pulaski Tech employees and students can attend for free.
