Annual flu vaccine campaign to be held Oct. 17
UA Little Rock’s Office of Health Services will host its annual flu vaccine campaign in the Donaghey Student Center lower concourse from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17.
This year’s vaccine is a single-dose, quadrivalent flu shot administered by injection into the upper arm. Participants are advised to dress for easy access to the upper arm.
Benefits-eligible employees will be able to use their UMR membership card to cover the cost of the vaccine. Other insurances are also accepted. Students will be able to receive their vaccine free of charge. No appointments are necessary.
All students and employees are strongly encouraged to participate. Flu shots will continue to be given by the Office of Health Services in the weeks following the event.
