Homeland Security advisor Chad Adams to speak Oct. 24 at UA Little Rock
Chad Adams, cyber security advisor for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, will be on campus to present and discuss topics related to National Cyber Security Awareness Month from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, in the Donaghey Student Center Room D.
This is the 15th year that October has been observed as National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The observance, an initiative by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance, focuses on educating consumers, students, young people, and businesses of all sizes about the importance of staying safe online.
The presentation is sponsored by UA Little Rock’s Information Technology Services and is free and open to the entire campus.
