UA Little Rock’s Alliance, in partnership with AWARE, will host an “Open Closet” fundraiser on Friday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter A. All funds raised will benefit Lucie’s Place, the only homeless shelter for LGBTQ+ youth in Arkansas.

The fundraiser will allow participants to shop for gently used clothes at discounted prices.. Clothing of all types and sizes will be available, and the event is gender non-binary and transgender-friendly.

If you are interested in donating clothes, contact the Alliance or AWARE on Facebook or look for marked donation bins on the first floor of Ottenheimer Library and around campus. Only gently used clothes in good condition will be accepted.
