The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is hosting a public sale of musical instruments from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, in the galleries of the UA Little Rock Fine Arts Building.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Community Orchestra is celebrating its 20th anniversary with s special concert on Sunday, April 29. 

A famous Arkansas composer, teacher, and pianist has been honored by the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association for her lifetime of musical accomplishments after being denied entry to the organization nearly a century ago because of her race. 

Pianist Norman Boehm, professor of music at Hendrix College, will star in a recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 8, in the Fine Arts Building’s Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall.
