Andrea Vargas is one of 17 UA Little Rock students to receive the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. She earned the Just Communities of Arkansas Scholarship/Internship and will intern at Communities of Arkansas and get a scholarship.

Seventeen University of Arkansas at Little Rock students have been awarded scholarships from the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) 750 for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Dr. Andrew Rogerson, chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, was honored for his contributions supporting the Latino community during LULAC’s (League of United Latin American Citizens) annual scholarship gala held Oct. 13 at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum. 

Professor Emeritus of Sociology Terry Richard-Treviño and his twin brother, Jerry Richard, have donated $11,000 to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to start a scholarship that will support Latino students at UA Little Rock.
