Public Safety sets Drug Take Back Initiative collection record
The UALR Department of Public Safety collected a record 105 pounds of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs as part of the ninth annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative.

Chancellor’s Leadership Corps launches annual food drive
The UALR Chancellor’s Leadership Corps (CLC) launched its annual Reach 13,000 food drive on Sept. 15 to support the Arkansas Food Bank. The goal of the drive is to provide 13,000 families with nonperishable food.
