Reid named academic success coordinator for Trojans

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Athletics has hired Ashley Reid as an academic success coordinator. In this role, Reid will work with both the Trojans’ compliance and academic offices in maintaining an atmosphere of success for Little Rock student-athletes. 

Page promoted to assistant athletic director for ticketing

University of Arkansas at Little Rock Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque has announced the promotion of Casey Page to assistant athletic director for ticketing. Page has previously served as the Trojans’ director of ricketing since August of 2016. 

Trojans announce 2018-19 women’s golf schedule

University of Arkansas at Little Rock head women’s golf coach Bridgett Norwood has released the Trojans’ 2018-19 schedule, a slate which takes Little Rock to six different states and includes the Trojans’ annual home meet in Hot Springs Village.

Trojans release 2018-19 men’s golf schedule

University of Arkansas at Little Rock Director of Golf Jake Harrington announced the Trojans’ 2018-19 men’s golf schedule, one that will take Little Rock to seven different states for its 11 tournaments of the upcoming season.

UA Little Rock, UCA announce Governor’s I-40 Showdown

The athletic departments from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Central Arkansas announced the formation of the Governor’s I-40 Showdown, a rivalry series established to promote the spirit of in-state competition between the Little Rock Trojans and the Central Arkansas Bears while celebrating the athletic programs of both schools. 

Warren places fourth at Canadian amateur championship

University of Arkansas at Little Rock senior Justin Warren finished fourth among a field of 246 golfers at the 2018 Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship. Warren posted a 72-hole total of 11-under 273, finishing seven strokes off the lead. 

Lottie to represent UA Little Rock on Global Sports Academy European tour

University of Arkansas at Little Rock sophomore guard Jaizec Lottie is one of 21 players at the Division I basketball level selected to take part in a 2018 Global Sports Academy tour through Europe. The week-long tour, taking place Aug. 10-17, will visit Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam, and London.
