The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host a lunch and panel discussion to honor local women who have spent their lives working in public service and government careers.

The new academic year will kick off with a new and exciting event, the Trojan Tip-Off and Pep Rally. UALR will hold its Welcome Back Week for all new and returning students enrolled for the spring 2015 semester.

The “Songwriter’s Showcase” will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall, featuring the work of six student composers that will premiere during the first half of the show.
