UA Little Rock Sees Most Significant Enrollment Increase in 15 Years

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is celebrating a significant enrollment milestone. The Fall 2024 census reveals the university’s largest enrollment growth in 15 years. This marks the most substantial increase since Fall 2009, reflecting the university’s continued efforts to enhance access and increase affordability. 

17 UA Little Rock Students Receive LULAC Scholarships

Seventeen University of Arkansas at Little Rock students have been awarded scholarships from the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) for the 2023-24 school year. The 17 students are collectively receiving more than $30,000 in scholarships, including some matching funds from UA Little Rock.

UA Little Rock Halts Thirteen-Year Enrollment Decline 

UA Little Rock’s preliminary fall 2023 enrollment figures indicate an increase in undergraduate and graduate student full-time equivalents (FTE) of 1.2%, an increase in student semester credit hours (SSCH) of 1.0%, and a headcount decline of 1.0% over the fall 2022 semester. Preliminary enrollment indicates 7,147 undergraduate and graduate students. These figures do not include UA Little Rock Halts Thirteen-Year Enrollment Decline 

Windgate Foundation Supports Teacher Education with $3.5 Million Grant

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has received a $3.5 million grant from the Windgate Foundation to endow the directorship of its School of Education. This gift will support the transformation of teacher education at UA Little Rock in its quest to become a premier provider of teachers in the state.
