In efforts to comply with OSHA 1910.1200 (Hazard Communication), the UA at Little Rock campus will maintain a Hazard Communication Plan (HC Plan). The HC Plan is not intended to be an exhaustive or fully comprehensive reference, but rather a guide for individuals. If a topic is not covered in the HC Plan, requirements expressly written in OSHA 1910.1200, will be applied.
The purpose of the HC Plan is to communicate information about workplace hazards. Components of the program include adequate labeling of hazardous substances, providing information such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous substances, and training employees about chemical hazards in the workplace.
