CAMPUS EVENTS UPDATE

Effective immediately, on-campus events are canceled through June 1, extended from April 30, unless written authorization is granted by a vice chancellor.

Oak Hall Cap and Gowns

Keeper Regalia, Souvenir – Individual Customer Orders:

Items Shipped to Bookstore: Items shipped to the bookstore will be refunded without calling Oak Hall.
Items Shipped to Residence: Contact Oak Hall to request a refund for unopened items shipped directly to your residence. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Phone 1-800-456-7623 between (7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon-Fri) or email customerservice@oakhalli.com to start the refund process.

  • If the order has shipped, the regalia can be returned and refunded if it is unopened from the plastic package. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
  • For returns and inquiries for any of the above items, the UA Little Rock Bookstore will direct students to Oak Hall’s Customer Service Team at 1-800-456-7623 ( 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon-Fri) or via email at customerservice@oakhalli.com.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Counseling by Phone. During this very stressful time, we want to make you aware that counseling is now available by phone for currently enrolled UA Little Rock students. Phone appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with the exception of holidays or when the university is closed. Plans are to continue the phone counseling services until face to face classes resume. Therefore, if you feel we can be of assistance, please reach out to Counseling Services at 501-916-3185.

TECHNOLOGY ACCESS

There will be brief interruptions to campus IT services beginning at 10 p.m. tonight and lasting until 4 a.m. tomorrow morning, Wednesday, March 25 while network upgrade maintenance is performed.

Please be aware if you are logged into a network service when maintenance begins, you will be temporarily disconnected for approximately 15 minutes until the maintenance has been completed. Once the maintenance has been completed, normal network functionality will be restored.

REMINDER

The Office of Communications and Marketing must approve all UA Little Rock messaging regarding COVID-19. This includes announcements to employees, students, or the community. If you have an announcement to be included in the COVID-19 daily digest, the announcement should have vice chancellor approval and should be sent to Jeff Harmon at jwharmon@ualr.edu by 1 p.m. each day. If you have questions about what constitutes an appropriate announcement, please work with a member of the communications team.

At this time, please refrain from posting event modifications or office closings to university listservs without the appropriate vice chancellor approval.
