CAMPUS LIVING
UA Little Rock is closing its residential facilities, effective April 6, 2020. This decision regarding safety was made after consultation with health officials, students, campus living staff, and university administration. Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) health emergency, students are unable to return to UA Little Rock residence halls or apartments after April 6, 2020. Students without alternative housing options, including international students, may request an exception with the Office of Campus Living. Exception requests may also be submitted for reasons of personal safety, Internet access, lack of alternative housing, academic distress, and other legitimate reasons.
A decision regarding housing and meal plan refunds is unavailable at this time as UA Little Rock awaits guidance from the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees and the University of Arkansas System. Information regarding housing and meal plan refunds will be shared with residents as soon as it is available.
Residents will receive a separate message from the Office of Campus Living with additional information regarding move-out instructions as well as the process for exception requests.
This is an unprecedented event for UA Little Rock. The health and safety of students and employees of the UA Little Rock community is our highest priority. Thank you for your patience and assistance through this difficult matter.
