BA in Art / Art Education Track

Coordinator: Jeff Grubbs

The BA in Art / Art Education Track is designed to provide a strong studio and art history background while fulfilling the requirements for Arkansas Licensure for the Art K-8 and Art 7-12 teaching areas. Students develop digital teaching portfolios and use a variety of interactive technology for classroom assignments. During art education and teacher education courses, students visit a variety of elementary, middle and senior high school art programs. University students participate in teaching assignments in elementary and secondary art classrooms.

The art education track requires a minor in Secondary Education.
