Bachelor Degree Requirements for BA in Interdisciplinary Studies
To receive a Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies Online, a student must complete the following requirements:
A minimum of 124 hours of which 30 hours must be at UALR and 45 must be upperālevel (3000 level or above).
These required hours must include:
- A minimum of a 2.0 cumulative grade point on all work attempted at the University.
- A minimum of a 2.0 cumulative grade point on all work attempted in the academic major.
- A Core curriculum
- Completion of all major requirements.
- Completion of the appropriate second language requirements.
This program requires 60 hours in addition to the UALR core curriculum and foreign language requirements. The major must include 18 hours of study in three concentrations (54 hours total), as well as LIST 3310 Reasoning Across the Disciplines and LIST 4310 Liberal Arts Colloquium. Two of the three concentrations must be within the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
