As Instructional Technology Specialist for the UALR Department of CARE, Brad Sims provides support to faculty and staff for instructional technology systems. These systems include WebCT/BlackBoard, audio/video presentation, online course management, distance learning, voice-over-IP and web-video conferencing. Mr. Sims also manages the web site and web accessibility for CARE and its programs using WordPress.
Mr. Sims received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UALR in 2000 in Liberal Studies, with emphases in Technical Writing, Graphic Design, German and Philosophy. Since receiving his degree, he has held positions as Communications Manager for the Arkansas Science & Technology Authority and as Education Technology Specialist for Phillips Community College’s Federal Title III Grant program.
