Chalk and Wire Information


Chalk and Wire is an online electronic portfolio management system. Its purpose is to provide students, faculty, administrators and outside accrediting agencies a centralized storage location for teacher candidate work. The work assessed in Chalk and Wire is designed to show teacher candidate growth throughout the candidate’s tenure it their respective programs.

Teacher candidates may use Chalk and Wire for personal electronic portfolio development. The system allows candidates to develop and maintain personal portfolios, which demonstrate, technical as well as teaching skills.
